Online Safety News for Parents

How safe are you keeping your children online?

For children, the Internet has opened up a whole new world of opportunities but with these opportunities can come dangers. Parents, who may be quite used to using technology themselves, can sometimes struggle to keep up to date with what their children are exposed to online. Children need to be supervised while accessing the Internet and using social media. At school, we teach Online Safety at an age appropriate level to each year group. However, at home we realise parents may need more help to keep up to date with the latest online trends.

On this page, our aim is to give you the information you need to help you keep your children safe and help you become Internet aware.  We will regularly publish tips and tricks on how to keep your children safe online.

Please also see our Online Safety page - Go to the 'Parents Information' tab, then scroll down to 'Online Safety'.
