Breakfast Club
At St. George’s we are proud to have a very popular Breakfast Club, which started in January 2007. The Club is very well run by the school staff, who are both caring and dedicated. The children enjoy a healthy breakfast before taking part in the range of activities on offer. They are all escorted to their classrooms at 8.45 am.
Access to the club is via Halifax Road entrance. We open the gates from 7.45am and breakfast is served between then and 8.15am. The cost is £4.00 per session for the first child, £3.00 for a second and £2.00 for each subsequent sibling. If your child has any allergies, we ask that you let us know in advance so that we can cater for them, (we are a “NUT FREE” school). Please see the breakfast menu below.
The children are offered outside activities from 8.15am, weather permitting, and this gives them an excellent opportunity to form friendships as well as get some valuable exercise in the fresh air before their school day commences.
They are closely supervised at all times are the only ones on site before 8.45am so are safe and securely looked after.
