Roll Back the Stone
An Easter production by Year 3
In a break with tradition – pupils in year 3 performed a play at Easter this year. The production ‘Roll Back the Stone’ was warmly welcomed and the consensus was that it was very moving. This is an important year for the children as they receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. The children sung about the hope that Jesus’ resurrection brings, as the stone is rolled away from the empty tomb. It is fitting that they should mark the most important feast of the church year in this way. Thank you to everyone who attended the performances.
