Eductional Visit to St.Alban's Cathedral

Year 4 educational visit to St. Alban's Cathederal

On Thursday 1st February 2018, year 4 went to St. Albans. We travelled by coach to the cathedral. After that, we went to make Roman mosaics, which was really fun!

At 12:00, we went had our lunch. Next, we were shown some Roman armour, sandals, a shield, sword and a helmet.

The last thing we did was to role-play Alban’s story, who was a Roman at first and then became a Christian. The people who died at St.Alban’s were a priest named Amphibalus and St. Alban.

St. Alban’s Cathedral was built at the place where he died.
