Royal Observatory, Greenwich

Year 5 Trip to the Royal Observatory and the Planetarium in Greenwich.

Yesterday, classes 5A and 5OS visited the Royal Observatory, Greenwich.  When we were there we went to the Planetarium, where we learnt about our Solar System and the Zodiac.  When you looked up, there was a huge domed ceiling.  Suddenly all the lights went out and you could see the planets orbiting the sun.   We found out lots of things about the planets as our talk was lead by a scientist who was really funny.  I really enjoyed the trip and I will definitely go again.  Good luck to 5K and 5F with their trip tomorrow.
