As part of our St.George's Day celebrations, children came to school dressed in the colours of St.George which are red and white.  We had a Mass for all the children and staff celebrating St.George.  After that, we followed the usual tradition at our school, which is to have an Art Competition.  This year children were asked to design a banner, crest or flag to celebrate St. George.  We had an enormous task to look at and judge the winners, as you can see from the examples below, children worked very hard on their designs and the standard was very high. The winners will all be involved in a special project.  All the children had a treat in the afternoon as they were able to watch a film.  Well done to everyone!
