Young Apprentice Competition 2018
After our SATS, Year 6 were given an exciting entrepreneurial project to focus on: The Young Apprentice.
The Young Apprentice Project developed our ability to work as a team and to handle a specific budget of £50.
The main aim of the project was to plan an exciting stall which would appeal to all the students in our school. First, we developed our initial ideas in groups of six to ten in each class. Then, each group presented their idea before two tough judges: Mr O’ Rourke and Mrs Jones-Owen. It was nerve-racking!
The winning idea from each class then went on to design and create their stall. On Friday morning, the stalls in the Scout Hut looked fantastic. We were ready for our eager customers who could choose to spend their limited funds at any of the four stalls playing games and winning prizes.
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and we are proud to announce the winners: TIP THE TROPHY (6R).
We raised an amazing £864.16 for the Parent Association.
