Year 4 Educational Visit to St.Alban's Cathedral

On Thursday 1st February, we went to Saint Albans Cathedral. It was beautiful! We were excited when we first saw it! It had amazing stained glass windows, they were as colourful as a rainbow. First we met Terry and Claire, they showed us the Roman artefacts but not the real ones, just replicas. The shields they used in battle were as big as a bus! Then we looked at their battle wear; there was a helmet (which George wore) the armour which was as heavy as a car ( which Julia and Adaeze held up ) Then they took us on a tour and told us about Saint Alban. It was just like a holy mansion! We loved every minute!
