Beauty and the Beast
A performance by The Image Theatre and children from St.George's
In November all the children of St George’s went to the new hall to watch Image Theatre. They performed Beauty and the Beast and the actors were fantastic, so everyone enjoyed it. They asked some children to put on costumes so they could be part of it. While they were gone we practised the songs for the singing parts of the play.
Everyone (including the teachers) wanted to watch more because it was funny and the actors tried to make us giggle and it worked. The funniest character was Irena, Beauty’s vain sister because she was selfish in a funny way.
The next day everyone was talking about Image Theatre and we can’t wait to see them again next year for The Secret Garden.
