Outdoor Learning Day - Year 6

On the 5th of July some year six children were chosen to go to Forty Hall for an outdoor activity day. We were put into groups depending on what secondary school we were going to. The activities that we did were: *Building dens *Building up tents *Measuring trees *Drawing features around us using charcoal *Bug catching *Making boats. Our favourite activity was bug catching because we found different animals (including a frog). The main reason we had this day out was to work with other schools, boost our confidence and to make new friends. We had a really fun day and we want to thank Mr Ash for arranging it with other teachers from different schools. By Soraya and Iona 6A.
